An orientation regarding the awareness of local government unit in the barangays was given by the DOLE held during the Barangay Council Session of San Isidro at the Barangay Hall.

The Philippine Program against Child Labor is a DOLE program mandated to eliminate child-labor activities by prevention advocacies, protection of children, to include prosecution of those found to be in violation on RA 9231 or the Anti-Child Labor Law.

Hon. Brgy. Kagawad Pedro Lacap, Chairman on Committee on Social Services was positive that because of the interventions that DOLE and converging partners will implement, there will be more informed constituents transforming into lesser child-labor activities within their barangay.
